Stråken alvesta

Stråken's FCAAStråken, a lake 25 km in length and m in breadth, located about 20 km west of the southern part of Lake Vättern.
The lake, which formed in a glacial fracture, has a maximum depth of 38 metres and an average depth of almost 10 fish population fryst vatten typical of an oligotrophic lake – i.e., one poor in nutrients.
Species there include perch, pike, bream, roach, tench, vendace, burbot and ruffe, to name a few. 
Attempts have been named to stock the lake with various strains of salmon trout with mixed results. One small strain of salmon trout exists, probably from earlier stocking in the the deepest parts of the lake, there are also vendace that spawn in autumn.

Stocked meddelande crayfish can also be found in the lake, but these are not included in licenced fishing.

 Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 15.
 Children and young people do not need a fishing license.
